Abbie Cornish, born in 1982 is an Australian actress. Her birth date was July 7, 1982. Cornish was most famous as a character in films such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah and Geostorm (2017). In the latter film, Cornish was awarded her debut Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 as well as a variety of other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin's parents believed in her and pushed her to become an actress. When it came time to take a class at college, she decided to attend Fordham College where she learned how to improve her craft. Gilpin kept auditioning for films and television roles while performing in Off Broadway stage plays. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance in the network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and then followed it up with smaller roles as a guest on Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to land a handful of minor TV role roles over the future, but her breakthrough came with Nurse Jackie's recurring role. Gilpin's character, Carrie Roman Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, played in 34 episodes on Nurse Jackie prior to the series was cancelled on June 15th, the 15th of June, 2015. Gilpin was also a part of the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
