April Lockhart is a born July 4, 1995. As a seventh-grade student she began to take guitar lessons and piano lessons. This ignited her passion for music writing. In April, when she was 12 years old when she wrote her first single called Different. At the age of 14 April was a big devotee of her day singing and writing songs. In the following months, April started taking trips in NY and LA together with her father in order for them both to write songs. April also included additional topics in her hit song"Take my Hand. These topics were meant for the friends of hers who struggled with things like peer pressure issues or even teenage suicide ideas. Lockhart is a popular figure and works as an online lifestyle blogger for the popular Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. Lockhart was never born having a left-handed hand, which is why she's the person she is. However, that's not all the facts. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't hide her disability but doesn't concentrate solely on her disability. It's a message. The message is That we all carry multiple identities and are way more diverse than we think we're. Lockhart said via video that she does not want to be defined solely by her handicap. She does not want to become a disability advocate who only talks about disability. There are a lot of aspects of Lockhart. My everyday life isn't directly affected by disability. I live my normal day-to-day life and discover my own solutions to problems. The same is true for my personality, and that it is something to be talked about. Lockhart inspires us to keep moving forward with self-acceptance. Lockhart admits to having been through a series of phases regarding her appearance, feeling uncomfortable in certain situations wearing clothing that displayed her arms. Now she wears whatever outfit she wishes and shares pictures on Facebook in awe. One of the keys to self-love for her is that it's not an end destination. This is a process, and I'm sure that you never reach your destination. It's vital to surround yourself people who can discern and understand your heart.
